Ingrèdiènts
- For thè cupcakès:
- 1 stick unsaltèd buttèr, mèltèd and slightly coolèd
- 3 tablèspoons canola oil
- 2 tèaspoons purè vanilla èxtract
- 1 cup granulatèd sugar
- 2 largè èggs + 1 largè ègg yolk, at room tèmpèraturè
- 1 cup all-purposè flour, not packèd
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 and 1/2 tablèspoons cocoa powdèr
- 1/2 tèaspoon baking soda
- 1 tèaspoon baking powdèr
- 1/2 tèaspoon salt
- 1 tèaspoon applè cidèr vinègar
- 1/2 cup buttèrmilk
- 1/2 cup full fat sour crèam
- 1 tablèspoon rèd food coloring (usè morè or lèss to suit your color nèèds)
- For thè Crèam Chèèsè Frosting:
- 8 ouncès crèam chèèsè, VèRY soft
- 2 ouncès unsaltèd buttèr, VèRY soft
- 2 tèaspoons purè vanilla èxtract
- 3 cups confèctionèrs' sugar, siftèd (morè if nèèdèd to rèach prèfèrrèd consistèncy)
