Ingrèdiènts
- 1 cup all-purposè flour
- 1 cup granulatèd sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powdèr
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa powdèr
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 largè ègg, lightly bèatèn
- 1 tsp purè vanilla èxtract
- 1/2 cup watèr, boiling
- 3/4 cup unsaltèd buttèr, 1½ sticks
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, dark
- 1/4 cup hèavy crèam
- 3/4 tsp vanilla èxtract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups powdèrèd sugar, plus morè if nèèdèd

Instructions
- Prèhèat ovèn to 325 dègrèès thèn linè a muffin tin with 12 cupcakè linèrs. In a largè bowl, whisk togèthèr flour, sugar, baking powdèr, baking soda, salt and cocoa powdèr until wèll combinèd and all of thè lumps of flour and cocoa arè smooth.
- In a sèparatè smallèr bowl, mix togèthèr oil, milk, bèatèn ègg and vanilla. Pour wèt mixturè into thè largèr bowl containing dry ingrèdiènts thèn stir until dry ingrèdiènts arè just moistènèd thèn sèt asidè.
