INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large or 3 medium ripe firm peaches halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup oats quick cooking or regular
  • 2 tablespoons chilled diced butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F degrees. Butter a baking dish that is big enough to hold your peaches and set aside.
  2. Using a melon baller, scoop out and discard the red flesh from the center of each peach, create a cavity large enough to hold streusel but leave enough flesh to give the peach stability. Place peaches cut side up in your baking dish.
